No more tiptoeing around your own property. No more canceling backyard gatherings because wasps have taken over your deck or patio.
When we’re done, you’ll walk outside without scanning the air for buzzing threats. Your kids can play in the yard again. Your outdoor spaces become yours again – not theirs.
Most importantly, you’ll sleep better knowing those aggressive colonies that can house thousands of wasps by fall are completely eliminated, not just temporarily disrupted.
Roger founded First Choice Pest Control in 2005, but he’s been eliminating wasp problems for 26 years. That’s over two decades of understanding exactly how Michigan wasps behave, where they nest, and what it takes to remove them completely.
We’re not a national chain that rotates different technicians through your property. You get the same experienced professional every time – someone who knows your property and remembers what worked.
Brent Creek families trust us because we’re local. We live here, our kids go to school here, and we’ve been solving pest problems in this community for 20 years. When you call, you’re talking to neighbors who understand exactly what you’re dealing with.
First, we locate every nest – not just the obvious ones. Wasps are sneaky. They build in wall voids, under eaves, in the ground, and places you’d never think to look.
Next, we eliminate the entire colony using targeted treatments that reach every wasp, including those away foraging. This isn’t a spray-and-hope approach. We use professional-grade materials and techniques that ensure complete elimination.
Finally, we remove the physical nest structure and seal entry points to prevent re-establishment. Because here’s what most people don’t know: if you don’t remove the nest completely, they’ll rebuild in the same spot.

Michigan has some of the most aggressive wasp species in the country. Bald-faced hornets, yellowjackets, and paper wasps each require different removal approaches.
Yellowjackets are particularly problematic in Brent Creek because they nest underground and in wall cavities. By fall, a single colony can house 5,000 wasps. They’re also the most aggressive – they’ll chase you and attack even when unprovoked.
Paper wasps build those umbrella-shaped nests under your eaves and deck railings. While less aggressive than yellowjackets, they’re still dangerous around kids and pets. Bald-faced hornets create those large, football-shaped nests in trees and can sting repeatedly without losing their stinger.
